A childhood love of making lullabies instantaneously on any given subject matured into a passion for writing and, writing poems now is a source of inspiration as well as a medium of expression. Poetry has the magic of capturing thousands of thoughts and feelings in just a few lines. My association with a village school in India,
supporting holistic development of children
I have strong belief that Quality Education (SDG 4) can be a big unlock to make world a more equitable and fair place. To me Quality Education is lot more holistic beyond academic curriculum at school. While school studies forms the backbone, a holistic approach with life skills education is important. Quality Education can have a direct positive impact on multiple United Nation’s multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including No Poverty, Good Health & Well-being, Gender Equality, Decent Work & Economic Development.

My Appeal
Through my efforts thus far, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact we can make on the lives of children in rural India. The students at the school affectionately refer to me as “Saachi Didi” (elder sister). This experience has brought me immense satisfaction, joy, and gratitude. I am eager to invite others to join me in this endeavor, to experience the same sense of fulfillment, and to contribute towards creating a better future for the less privileged by contributing towards their holistic development.
