Reducing Dulwich’s Carbon Footprint
- Co-created a proposal and aligned with the school management on initiatives to reduce the school’s carbon footprint, creating a successful precedence for student-led initiatives to be implemented at the school.
- Installed automatic lighting systems and revised lighting schedules to reduce energy consumption, particularly during after-hours.
- Surveyed the school's air conditioning system to identify improvements, as improper adjustments had led to windows being opened during extreme temperatures, contributing to energy waste.
- Redesigned our school’s roofing to incorporate sedum plants, which help offset carbon dioxide emissions while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of campus.
